Leo has worked in the fitness industry for over 3 years as a successful personal trainer at corporate and commercial gyms and freelance, along with group exercise experience in outdoor and indoor settings.
Whilst working as a personal trainer, Leo has spent time training first timers to exercise all the way through to professional athletes, including martial artists and fitness models in their preparation for competitions. This wealth of experience has equipped Leo to teach a practical based approach to fitness training on both the level 2 and level 3 fitness qualifications, covering all aspects of being a successful professional in the fitness industry.
During his time as a personal trainer, Leo undertook a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Science. This course covered aspects of sport specific training and theory such as biomechanics, sports injuries and nutrition. With this information, Leo developed a practical based approach to applying this knowledge with not just sporting professionals, but the everyday client who may have simpler goals. This approach led to Leo becoming one of the most successful trainers in his gym and enabling him to bring his business online whilst maintaining a large client following.
Leo has been lucky to experience many different methods of delivering personal training, ranging between freelance outdoor training to gym based training and online personal training. He believes this experience is vital for all fitness professionals to understand in order to become the most successful trainer they possibly can. Although Leo now spends a large amount of his time teaching classes and building his online personal training company, his passion still lies with helping people achieve their goals and grow as individuals in a fun but challenging environment.
