ELCAS / Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC)

British Military Fitness are an approved learning provider for ELCAS. The MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The ELC scheme provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment in each of a maximum of three separate financial years.

You are reminded that ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning i.e. for courses that result in a nationally recognised qualification at Level three or above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Enhanced Learning Credits Process

Here are instructions on how you can access the ELC scheme:

  1. Choose your course
    1. Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training
    2. Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
    3. Level 4 Award in Strength & Conditioning
  2. Fill out the ELCAS claim form which you can download here and send to us so we can complete our information.
  3. Once received back from us, give your claim form to your education or resettlement officer for approval
  4. ELCAS will then check your eligibility for funding and approve usually within 5-10 days.
  5. Once your claim is approved by ELCAS you will be sent a Claim Authorisation Number (CAN)
  6. Send your CAN to us and book your course with us by paying your 20% personal contribution (as required by ELCAS)
